20131023-015006.jpgWe have had some beautiful rainbows this last week due to the changeable weather.

This double rainbow followed me home and was greeting me right over our little house on my return. It was a beautiful moment having realised that our daughter had not yet noticed it, so I got to see her reaction as she ran out of the house. Check out the contrast between the light of the rainbow and the moody grey of the clouds in this one. I havn’t added a filter to any of these images.

Here’s another cracker taken this week from our back door. 20131023-015651.jpg
Another beautiful sight was what looked like an aeroplane at first but then appeared to be the meteorite shower type displays I’ve seen before on the news & weather.

Finally, reminding me that if in doubt I should always look up, here are some if the stunning sky views which we have seen these last few days.

Blue skies visible through a heavy shower with dark rain clouds parting.

Gorgeous October sunrise.

Huge harvest moon.

Progression of the October sunrise.
